We came here for dinner on our first night in Chamonix, and chose to have the 3 course menu. We both had French onion soup, my husband had the chicken and I had the duck, then for desert he had Tiramisu and I had the chocolate option. The food and service were so good we stopped in for lunch the next day. We were both wet and hungry after hiking in the rain, so had the French Onion Soup again, this time with a garlic pizza and a couple of fabulous Irish Coffees, and the service exceptional. We came back again for dinner that night, this time my husband had the Beef bourguignon and I had the lamb, followed by a Tarte Tartine and a Crème Brûlée. Again we were not disappointed. I have no idea why there are negative reviews for this restaurant our experience was nothing but positive. Note the price paid reflects the fact that we chose a more expensive wine option.

We came here twice on our chamonix trip, the first day we had the 3 course set meals, all three courses were lovely, main courses were huge leaving little room for dessert. I had snails for starter ( my first time having them ) duck breast as a main which was very tasty and cooked to perfection before finishing off with a tiramisu. Our waiter spoke very good english, an had a laugh with us. The next time we went there, we had a cheese fondue, and I had a beef burguinon, which again was very tasty.

We enjoyed our dinner in this restaurant, the waiters were very welcoming and friendly. We were 2 persons, we ordered lobster spaghetti, lasagna and cheese fondue. Its our first time trying the cheese fondue, we didnt expect it to be this big.. The pasta portion is quite big aswell. Anyway, the food was delicious! Our bill for these three orders was 95 euros.

We went there on our Chamonix trip and it was my husband's birthday. We had very good dining experience and food was superb, not sure why there are some negative comments. But I strongly recommend this restaurant on your Chamonix trip. We ordered a combination/ menu - french onion soup, , nicely done and served with some bread on the side. For the main, We had the Escalope de poulet à la Savoyarde (chicken escalope) — tender chicken with melted Savoyard cheese and ham (we opted out for ham), rich yet very comfort food. Served with bread and salad and potato fries . We upgraded the dessert by paying a small extra and chose crème brûlée, which was totally worth it — creamy with a nicely caramelised top. For the kids, we ordered a Margherita pizza, simple and well made, and they loved it. The staffs were very friendly and kind and service and ambience pretty good. Overall, a relaxed place with hearty food, good portions, and a classic Alpine vibe.

I'm not sure why all the negative reviews. Maybe different days get different food quality. We had a veggie pizza, onion soup and beef bourguignon. I'm not an expert at the bourguignon but it was adequate. However, I have eaten pizza around the world and it was a pretty decent pie. The onion soup was also fairly good. None of it was outstanding but it was a decent meal at a decent price.

We had a very nice dinner. The tartiflette was fantastic and so was the onion soup. My daughter enjoyed the pizza but my wife didn't like the salmon too much! Overall a good experience. Very lively.

I’m not sure why the reviews were so low.. we were quite pleasantly surprised with both the food and the service. My family got the 3 course meal, it was really worth it and pretty good. Service was also fantastic.

We are here twice during our visit. Plenty of outdoor seating. Service was attentive and very friendly. The complementary bread leaves some room for improvement however the salad and pizza/pizza like entrees had great flavors and overall very tasty.
